Veterinary Nurse

Hi,

My name is Maddie Callicott! As you can tell by my last name I am the doctor’s daughter. My mom and dad have owned and operated this practice for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I would love coming to work with them. My passion for animals started young. I have had hamsters, a rabbit, a bird, and lots of dogs and cats. I started working here as a kennel attendant when I was 16 and have continued to help out on and off since. I have been back full time for about 2 years now and am loving every minute of it! I help out in all aspects of the clinic, so you might see me up front at reception, or in an exam room helping a doctor!

At home I have 2 dogs, June and Jake, and 2 cats, Dave and Mira. I am a homebody so I enjoy spending my time cuddling with my fur babies! I previously went to school for an education in baking. I still enjoy baking, and regularly make treats for friends and family. However, I am now pursuing an education in Veterinary Technology. I am attending an online university and studying to become a registered technician. I enjoy caring for animals and am grateful that I have the opportunity to do so. Petworks is such a great place, I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this team! I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
