Do you want Fido or Fluffy to play while you are at work or away for the day? Petworks offers doggie daycare. Your dog is out free in the clinic and playing with friends. The staff also gives lots of love to your pet. It is supervised by staff member(s) at all times. Currently our daycare doggies play hard then all tend to nap together on a large comforter. (What a picture). You may drop your best buddy off at 7:30 am and pick him/her up as late as 7:00 pm. All dogs are walked 2 to 3 times a day. If you would like your companion to have some lunch during the day, we ask that you supply us with the meal.
All the daycare dogs must be current on rabies , bordetella (yearly) and distemper/parvo vaccinations. Your dog must have a stool/fecal check done within the last year, and be on a heartworm preventative that controls intestinal parasites. Examples are Revolution, Heartgard, Sentinel, or Interceptor. All dogs must also be spayed or neutered. If your pet was vaccinated elsewhere please bring in records or we can call to verify the vaccines. We will be happy to vaccinate your pet as needed.
If you are interested in our doggie daycare , we do a 1-3 day trial to make sure all goes well. Doggie daycare is $12.00/day (no half days). We offer package prices of $300.00 for 30 days, or $165.00 for 15 days. The packages are good for 90 days. Call us for further information anytime at 913-381-3131.
Boarding at Petworks Veterinary Hospital
Petworks boarding offers a comfortable home away from home.
All pets are required to be current on rabies, kennel cough (Bordetella), and Distemper/Parvo vaccines in order to stay with us. If your pet has been given these vaccines at another clinic please bring their records. If you are not sure or the vaccines are not current your pet will receive these vaccines upon arrival. This is to ensure the well being of your pet, other boarding animals, and the kennel staff.
During your pets stay at Petworks they will receive the best care. Dogs are walked several times daily. The dog and cat areas are kept exceptionally clean by our kennel staff. The dog area is separate from the cat areas to allow a comfortable atmosphere for both. The cat area has windows for basking in the sun.
Petworks can feed your animal our house food (iVet brand), but we recommend you bring in your pets own favorite food to decrease the chance of intestinal upset. The kennel staff will be attentive to all your pets needs. We have soft blankets to provide a comfortable stay. Although you are welcome to bring toys, pillows, or blankets to make your pets feel at home, we recommend leaving expensive or irreplaceable items at home.Boarding Fee Schedule
