Petworks

Petworks is a full service pet care facility. Dr Kent Callicott is the owner and veterinarian for Petworks. He graduated from Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. He takes great pride in his work and the hospital. The staff is also thoroughly trained to provide your pet with the highest level of veterinary care.

Petworks offers premier care for your pet. Our services include boarding, grooming, and day care. We also offer a full line of veterinary services, including dentistry, surgery, radiology, and an in house laboratory.  So, you can be sure that your best friend is going to be receiving great care here at Petworks. We will treat your pet with caring hearts and caring hands.

We are proud of our "Family" of staff at Petworks. Teamwork is important to us, we hold weekly Department Team Leader meetings and monthly meetings with the entire Petwork's staff.

Dr Kent Callicott

Dr Kent Callicott, DVM
Dr. Callicott was born and raised in Overland Park. He is one of the sons of Tom and Carolyn Callicott. He went to school in Overland Park graduating from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1985. He attended Auburn University in Alabama for one year and then attended Kansas State University from 1986 to 1990. During this time he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. He then went on at Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine from 1988 to 1992 graduating in May that year with his DVM degree.

During those years he met and married his high school sweetheart and “right hand”, Angie. They married in 1991. They have two children, Madalyn and Mason. Angie is now our practice manager.

Kent knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from an early age. He set his sights on being a DVM in kindergarten.

He also knew he wanted to own his own practice one day. He started practicing in Missouri and then began work at Petworks in 1998 with Dr. Paris Revoir. He and Dr. Revoir worked together until Kent bought the practice in 2004.

Petworks has been a mainstay at it's location since 1991and has continued to grow over the past 3 years since Dr. Callicott has owned it. Dr. Callicott has added some state of the art  technology to better serve his clients.

Dr. Callicotts’ clients love him and so do his patients. He is very compassionate and caring. He strives to provide the absolute best medicine possible to his patients.

Angie Callicot

Angie Callicott
Angie is the wife of Dr. Callicott. She and Kent have been married since 1991. They have two children Madalyn and Mason. Many clients have watched these two grow up over the last 10 years, since Dr. Callicott came to work at Petworks.

Angie also went to Kansas State University then transferred to Rockhurst College here is Kansas City. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has practiced as a Physical Therapist for 17 years. Angie is now helping out around the clinic and keeps things running as the practice manager.

Mandy Clogston
Mandy Clogston
Mandy has been the groomer at Petworks since February 2003.  She has been grooming however since 2000.  She has a 4 year old schnauzer name Petey.  Petey comes to work with her everyday and has a blast in our doggie day care.  When Mandy is not at Petworks, she enjoys taking long walks with Petey and spending time with family and friends.

 

 

Lauren Snyder 
Lauren has been working at Petworks since August of 2003.  She started with us as a Kennel helper and now she is a part time receptionist.  She graduated from Shawnee Mission South and is now studying to be a cosmetologist.  She has a Dachshund named Link at home and a Mastiff named Holly.

 

 

Diane Terrell
Diane joined the Petworks team in October of 2008.  She graduated from Turner High School then attended Johnson County Community College for several years.  She has 2 years previous veterinary experience and also helped out at a local animal shelter in her spare time.  She has been married to her husband Shawn for 14 years.  Together they have 6 pets (3 dogs and 3 cats).)  Diane enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.  She also enjoys golf, shopping for and spoiling her "fur babies" and going to the park with her dogs.
