Dr Kent Callicott, DVM
Dr. Callicott was born and raised in Overland Park. He is one of the sons of Tom and Carolyn Callicott. He went to school in Overland Park graduating from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1985. He attended Auburn University in Alabama for one year and then attended Kansas State University from 1986 to 1990. During this time he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. He then went on at Kansas State University, School of Veterinary Medicine from 1988 to 1992 graduating in May that year with his DVM degree.

During those years he met and married his high school sweetheart and “right hand”, Angie. They married in 1991. They have two children, Madalyn and Mason. Angie is now our practice manager.

Kent knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from an early age. He set his sights on DVM in kindergarten.

He also knew he wanted to own his own practice one day. He started practicing in Missouri and then began work at Petworks in 1998 with Dr. Paris Revoir. He and Dr. Revoir worked together until Kent bought the practice in 2004.

Petworks has been a mainstay at it's location since 1991and has continued to grow over the past 3 years since Dr. Callicott has owned it. Dr. Callicott has added some state of the art  technology to better serve his clients.

Dr. Callicotts’ clients love him and so do his patients. He is very compassionate and caring. He strives to provide the absolute best medicine possible to his patients.

Angie Callicott
Angie is the wife of Dr. Callicott. She and Kent have been married since August 17, 1991. They have two children Madalyn and Mason. Many clients have watched these two grow up over the last 8 years, since Dr. Callicott came to work at Petworks.

Angie also went to Kansas State University then transferred to Rockhurst College here is Kansas City. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has practiced as a Physical Therapist for 16 years. Angie is now helping out around the clinic and keeps things running as the practice manager.

Merriam Brocker, RVT
Merriam came to Kansas City from Florida. She graduated from Saint Petersburg College in Florida in 2002. She has been with us for 3 years. Merriam got married to Seth in 2006 and they are expecting a baby in October 2007. She has many companions at home. Her cats are Tigger, Jasmine and Bob Marley and her dog Candy which was adopted from a client here at Petworks.

Angie Paris, RVT
Angie went to Maple Woods Community College here in Kansas City. She graduated in 1997. She has worked in the Kansas City area since graduating from Maple Woods Community College. She joined our team in February of 2007. We are proud to have her. She has her dog (and her best friend) Hammer who stays in daycare here at Petworks all day while she works. Hammer is training in tracking. Tracking is basically like a search and rescue dog.

Laura Haynes- Receptionist
Laura has been with us since February of this year. She graduated from Olathe North High School. She is a busy gal who addition to doing a terrific job as the front desk manager at Petworks,she is going to Johnson County Community College. She has quite a love for animals and has adopted a cat "Hivvy”already from a Petworks client.

Mandy Clogston
Mandy is our fabulous groomer. She graduated from Turner High School. She began grooming after high school in 2000. She also has a degree in Respiratory Therapy from Kansas University and Kansas City Community College. She has been with Petworks for 4 years now. She grooms cats and dogs full time by appointment only. She pretties every breed there is. She speaks with you on how you want your animal companion looking like new. As pictured, Mandy has her best pal Petey ( who is a Schnauzer). He comes to work with her often.

Kacie Mazur
Kacie is our wonderful Kennel Manager. She graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest. She is in charge of taking care of all the daycare and boarding dogs, keeping the kennels looking and smelling great and managing all of the kennel staff. She also assists Dr. Callicott, the technicians and groomer when needed. Kacie also is Mom to Kierstin her beautiful baby girl. In addition to working and being a Mom, Kacie also goes to school at Johnson County Community College. She plans to then go to Maple Woods to become a veterinary technician.

Miss Jasmine
Meet Jasmine our clinic cat. She is our official greeter and runs the whole clinic. She has a rigid schedule of eating, sleeping and basking in the sun. She does greet patients and clients as well.

Lauren Snyder
Lauren has been working with us part-time for the past 4 years.  She just graduated from Shawnee Mission South.  We are very proud of her.  She does a great job.  She has her pal Link at home, who she calls her “hot dog”.  Link is a dauschund.

Rachel Minardi
Rachel just recently joined our team.  She is also a part-time receptionist.  She is a junior at Shawnee Mission South.  Welcome, Rachel.
